A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid in cash upon arrival or on the boat. Prices are in USD and may vary by season.
We accept PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, and cryptocurrencies for the deposit. The remaining balance must be paid in cash (USD) upon arrival or on the boat, as we operate in a remote area far from banks and payment infrastructure.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure: deposit is forfeited but no additional charges apply. Cancellations within 30 days: 50% of the total booking is charged. Cancellations within 7 days: 100% of the total booking is charged.
Rescheduling is possible subject to availability. We recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
Children are welcome on board. Children under 3 years sail free. For safety reasons, all guests must be comfortable in the water and able to swim. Life jackets are provided for all guests.
High season rates apply from December 15 to January 15 and during Easter/Semana Santa. Please contact us for exact pricing during these periods.
Check-in is on the morning of departure after the speedboat transfer from Panama City. Check-out is on the last morning before the return speedboat. Guests are expected to respect the boat, crew, and local communities. Smoking is not permitted on board. Plastic-free policy: please bring reef-safe sunscreen and reusable bottles.
Included: Captain and crew, accommodation on board, 3 homemade meals per day, natural juices and filtered drinking water, snorkeling gear, kayak, paddle board, and motorized dinghy.
Not included: Transportation Panama City ↔ sailboat (~$120–140 USD/person round trip), Guna Yala entrance fee (~$23 USD/person), alcoholic beverages, personal expenses.
San Blas on Sailboats is not responsible for accidents, illness, loss of personal belongings, or events beyond our control. Participation in water activities (snorkeling, kayaking, swimming) is at the guest's own risk. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
In the event of severe weather, government restrictions, or other force majeure events that prevent sailing, we will offer a credit for a future trip or discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
