About me
Guadalupe – Founder & Captain
In 2016, I left Argentina to embark on my first great adventure, traveling by bicycle from Argentina to Colombia. With little money in my pocket but many dreams to fulfill, I completed that remarkable journey, learning valuable lessons about life, the importance of respecting nature, and being a good person to both others and myself.
Upon arriving in Cartagena, Colombia, the idea of crossing to Panama by sailboat sparked a new adventure. Living aboard and sailing under a sky filled with thousands of stars, I discovered a way of life entirely different from the land—no streets, no car noises, no artificial lights—just a community of friends who share the same passion for sailing and the ocean.
Now, I want to share this lifestyle with everyone who seeks an adventurous, ecological, and sustainable life in the Caribbean of San Blas.”
We are a community of captains and sailors passionate about sailing, living an eco-friendly and adventurous lifestyle.
With rotating crew members, you’ll always find a skilled captain and a talented chef on board, each bringing their unique background and expertise to your journey. Join us for an unforgettable adventure
The Boat
Thyra
Our sailboat, Thyra, has a capacity for four people, making it the perfect option for solo travelers, groups of friends, or couples looking for a private sailing experience.
The boat features a bathroom, a private cabin with a king-size bed, two single beds, and a sofa bed in shared spaces. The beds can be stowed away during the day for added comfort. There are also individual storage spaces for personal items, a phone charging station, and four USB-powered fans to ensure a comfortable stay.
The Islands
San Blas
San Blas, known locally as Kuna Yala, is a true virgin paradise—one of the last untouched places on Earth. This archipelago of over 365 islands boasts endless coconut palms, crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, rivers, and lush jungle—a pure, natural wonder.
A Glimpse into Kuna History:
The Kuna people have a legacy of resilience and independence. In 1925, during the Tule Revolution, they peacefully resisted external forces attempting to impose control, bureaucracy, and capitalism on their community. Thanks to this revolution, Kuna Yala remains a place free from hotel chains and commercial development, where only the indigenous Kuna people live. It’s a serene, unspoiled world without cars, noise, or artificial lights—allowing visitors to find peace and move at their own pace in this microcosm of San Blas.
